Hi, I’m Monica, welcome to mountain crest womens wellness

This space was created out of my love for service, health, and wellbeing. It is located in an exclusive portion of my home that houses the traditional sauna with a cozy adjacent room for bodywork. There is a completely private entry that eases you into this unique experience with a down to earth neighborhood feel.

Unwind in solitude with quiet one to one service, and let the space draw you into a grounded state of relaxation. Escape into a solo sauna session to melt your stress away and partake in a bodywork adventure to release tension and allow your body to breathe again.

You are in kind and experienced hands at Mountain Crest. With over twelve years of hands on experience in a variety of settings, I’m now in a place where I have the opportunity and call to create my own space. With that brings a unique and quality experience that I am excited to share with you.

The techniques incorporated in session are customized to your specific needs and can include anything from light therapeutic touch to deep tissue bodywork. The modalities involved are swedish, myofascial, acupressure, pin and stretch, trigger point, abdominal, and side body. Each session is tailored to you, we will discuss your needs on arrival and set up a game plan prior to starting bodywork.

The approach at Mountain Crest is down to earth, client focused, and uniquely tailored. Starting with gingerly warming and opening the surface levels of the body, then fine tune targeting concern areas as needed. I strive to be gentle yet effective, working the fine line of relaxation, allowing the body to open while simultaneously working through deeper layers to release tension, open fascia, and allow for greater movement and circulation overall within the body.

The goal is to work responsibly, to not create an excessive amount of needed recovery or repair post session. With that in mind, the optimal recommendation is multiple sessions spread out, more so when the concern has been a chronic one. It’s best practice to be nice to the body, it tends to respond in kind, and can unravel and heal in a more efficient and holistic way.

Of course, one session is always better than no session, we can work with what is possible at any given time, and adjust needs accordingly. Ultimately the goal at minimum is to take some time to give back to yourself and the vessel that allows all of this life to happen.

Please reach out with any questions, small or big, I would love to discuss your case and set up a strategy to achieve your goals.
